Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The holding of the 43rd ASEAN Summit is a momentum to show economic growth, including the digital transformation that has been carried out in Indonesia.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Information (Wamenkominfo) Nezar Patria said that currently Indonesia is a country that has made a major contribution to digital economic growth in ASEAN. Indonesia has large internet users which of course helps the growth of the digital economic ecosystem. Nezar Patria also added that ASEAN itself is an extraordinary market, with a population of more than hundreds of millions. Under these conditions, it is estimated that growth could reach more than 6% every year.
