Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia- President Joko Widodo officially closed the 43rd ASEAN Summit (Summit) which was held 5-7 September 2023 and produced 90 outcome documents and generated economic benefits including 93 projects worth USD 38.2 billion.
International Business & Trade Law Observer, Ariawan Gunadi, appreciated Indonesia’s success in holding the 2023 ASEAN Summit. It is hoped that this conference of Southeast Asian countries will be able to encourage strengthening cooperation that supports ASEAN economic growth, even though global economic and geopolitical turmoil must be watched out for.
Ariawan also hopes that cooperation between Indonesia and ASEAN countries which are equal in providing mutual benefits can be implemented well. One of them is related to the ease of market access for Indonesian products to enter ASEAN and partner countries.
