Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has set holidays and leave with the state civil service (ASN) in 2024 for a total of 27 days. What about private workers?
Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah explained that the scheme that will take effect in 2024 is the same as this year, namely that it is facultative or not mandatory.
“The provisions are the same as the old ones, namely that this collective leave is facultative based on an agreement between the employer and the worker,” he explained in a press conference, Tuesday (12/9/2023)
Under these provisions, collective leave will take up the employee’s annual leave entitlement.
“In the old provisions for collective leave, workers’ annual leave rights are taken away. This has been going on for many years,” he concluded.
