Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Budiman Sudjatmiko was officially fired from PDIP. This follows the open support given to Prabowo Subianto as a Presidential Candidate (Capres) from the Gerindra Party.
The letter on Budiman’s dismissal was signed by PDIP Chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri and PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto on Thursday (24/8). PDIP politician Deddy Sitorus said that Budiman’s dismissal letter was sent to his home address via courier service shortly after it was signed.
Budiman sees his dismissal from PDIP as the end of the first episode in his life’s journey.
“And we are preparing new episodes,” said Budiman.
Contents of Budiman Sudjatmiko’s Dismissal Letter
1. Give organizational sanction in the form of dismissal to Mr. Budiman Sujatmiko, MAMPhil. of Membership of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle.
2. Prohibit the said brother in dictum 1 (one) above from carrying out activities and holding any position on behalf of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle.
3. The PDI Perjuangan DPP will be accountable for this decree at the Party Congress.
4. This Decree is valid since it was stipulated and if there is a mistake in the future, it will be reviewed and corrected accordingly.
