Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – President Joko Widodo revealed the results of the 43rd ASEAN Summit at the Jakarta Convention Center. One of them, the holding of the ASEAN Indo Pacific Forum (AIPF) resulted in projects worth US$ 38.2 billion or IDR 2,118 trillion (IDR 15,329/US$)
“The Indo Pacific Forum, which has produced 93 projects worth US$ 38.2 billion, is a concrete collaboration that is beneficial to the people,” Jokowi said in a press conference, Thursday (7/9/2023).
AIPF itself is a forum to connect the private and public sectors in the ASEAN and Indo-Pacific regions. This event lasted until September 6 yesterday at the Mulia Hotel, Jakarta.
Apart from that, there is also the end-to-end development of the electric car ecosystem which is fully supported by China, Japan, South Korea, to accelerate the implementation of local currency transactions.
On the same occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi revealed that what was produced at the 43rd ASEAN Summit was also the result of the previous 42nd ASEAN Summit which was translated by related partners. Such as migrant protection, protection for crew members, village networks, and the one health initiative.
“And there are many more, including during Indonesia’s chairmanship, the pillars that can support everything are strengthened, for example, food security, energy, health and finance,” said Retno.
