Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Indonesian men’s doubles pair Berry Angriawan/Rian Agung Saputro won the Xpora Indonesia International Challenge 2023 badminton tournament. In the match that was held at the Pancing Sports Hall, Medan, North Sumatra, Sunday (3/9/2023), Berry/Rian won defeated the one-country pair, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfani through a rubber game battle.
The two pairs played fiercely from the start of the game. In the first set, Sabar/Reza managed to win 21-19. Meanwhile, in the second set Berry/Rian managed to win 21-19 as well. The third set was competitive with each other chasing points. However, Berry/Rian managed to win with a score of 21-17. Berry/Rian won after successfully making the All Indonesian Final in the final match in the men’s doubles category.
This victory is proud and proves that the regeneration of Indonesia’s men’s doubles is going well. President Director of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) Royke Tumilaar say really appreciates the struggle of Berry/Rian who made it to the top of the party at the 2023 Xpora Indonesia International Challenge.
