This was proven by Boby Berliandika, a singer and music producer from Situbondo, East Java. His name began to rise after succeeding in appearing stunning at the talent search event, X Factor Indonesia in 2021.
Even though he had to go home in the Chair 2 round, this achievement made the man who is nicknamed the “Song Destroyer” even more convinced that music is his life. As is known, the jury gave the nickname to Boby because of his creativity in improvising every song that was performed.
Now Boby Berliandika continues his adventure in the Indonesian music scene by writing songs and becoming a producer and creator.
Because for him, a lot of potential that can be explored in the field of music today. Moreover, supported by the development of social media which makes it easier for musicians to gain exposure.
Likewise with the world of music production. Currently, quality recordings can also be done independently, no longer having to depend on a particular label. Not surprisingly, now many newcomer singers emerge through the home recording process as did Boby Berliandika.
“I am now producing music content on my YouTube channel, Boby Berliandika and other platforms, writing my own songs. Apart from focusing on singing, I also produce several singers. As well as being a music arranger, such as jazz, pop, dangdut, rock,” said Boby .
In the world of creators, Boby is also active in content by making covers of songs on his Instagram and Tiktok accounts @bobyberliandika. He also successfully promoted several singles through this platform, such as the songs Wounded, Durjana, Allow Servants to Repent and Bismillah for Love.
Boby has also won a series of awards in this field. Starting from getting silverplay on Youtube to unforgettable experiences from stage to stage.
“And the most interesting and I will never forget. I was once invited to the Ahmad Dhani Masterpiece birthday event. At that time it was live on TV. It was memorable for me that only village children never had high expectations in music at that time,” he said.
In the future, Boby hopes that his profession in music will continue to grow. Both as a solo singer and as a music producer. Because for Boby, music is his life and he believes music can also be a source of his livelihood.
“I feel that this is my world in music. I can express myself in any situation through music. When I’m sad, happy, anxious. I can express it in music and I can live through music,” explained the man who has a hobby of writing.
