Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) invites hundreds of local MSMEs to work together to encourage MSME empowerment in the framework of the 2023 National UMKM Day. This activity includes training at the GoTo UMKM center Solo Technopark, the GoFood Culinary Adventure program Solo Local Champion, and live shopping from Tokopedia play.
In this activity the training that was attended by local MSME actors, namely the socialization of benefits and how to obtain a Business Permit Number (NIB) and halal certification. The GoFood Culinary Adventure Champion Local Solo which has been held since August 10 has been enlivened by various GoFood business partners from various types of food and drinks typical of Solo, while live shopping from Tokopedia Play was held to encourage Solo home, fashion and culinary products.
The Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki expressed his appreciation for GoTo which is still serious about empowering national MSMEs through various technology initiatives and programs. He said national MSMEs, including local champions, were increasingly active in innovating and utilizing technology to gain competitive advantage in the market.
“Until now, as many as 22 million MSMEs have been onboard, and this number will continue to increase in line with the government’s target to encourage 30 million MSMEs to enter the digital ecosystem. I also hope that through digitizing MSMEs, local entrepreneurs can develop markets and reach more customers. , and go to class,” he said in a press release, Tuesday (15/8/2023).
Meanwhile, GoTo E-Commerce Business Unit President Melissa Siska Juminto said the GoTo ecosystem is here for MSMEs to grow and develop. Especially in times of economic recovery.
