“The average age of Indonesians is 72 years. Health spending is US$ 130. Malaysia is US$ 400 and Singapore is US$ 2,800 per person. The older a person is, the higher their health expenditure will be,” said Budi at the 2023 Tech Conference, Tuesday ( 22/8/2023).
Seeing this, it is not surprising that the investment opportunities in the health industry are currently very large. Even for opportunity in Singapore and Malaysia, he said it could reach US$ 700 billion.
