Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A cheap version of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will reportedly be released in the near future. Leaked specifications for the FE variant have also been scattered on the internet.
According to new news from a source, the Galaxy S23 FE will be released in September 2023. This statement matches the previously rumored third quarter release timeframe, namely July to September.
To quote GSMArena, this time the FE series will be powered by the Exynos 2200 SoC in several countries. Meanwhile in the US, the cellphone will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
The Samsung Gaalxy S23 FE will also be equipped with a 6.4-inch FHD + 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED screen.
Speaking of photos, this phone will be equipped with a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50 MP main camera with OIS, 8 MP ultrawide and 12 MP telephoto. Meanwhile, on the front there is a 10 MP selfie camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.
The FE variant will run Android 13 with One UI 5.1 at launch. And of course you’ll get Samsung’s standard software support promise, with four years of major Android updates and an additional year of security patches.
It is not yet clear what price will be priced for this HP. To be sure, the price will be much cheaper than the other Galaxy S23 families targeting the premium market.
As an illustration, the Galaxy S21 FE with 8GB/256GB RAM/ROM is priced at IDR 9,999,000 (currently the promo is IDR 7,999,000) in Indonesia. Most likely the Galaxy S23 will also be in a similar price range.
