Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Princess Martha Louise of Norway will marry her partner, a shaman from the United States named Durek Verrett. The couple announced they would marry next summer.
King Harald V, father of Princess Matha Louise congratulated the couple. The king said he was thrilled to welcome Verrett to his family.
Princess Martha Louise (51 years old) shocked the Norwegian public last year when she announced that she wanted to give up royal duties because she wanted to focus on running an alternative medicine business with her fiancé. Verrett (48 years old) is known as a quack who promotes alternative medical practices that have no basis or scientific basis.

Previously, Varret had an opinion that having cancer is a choice and he also sells medallion necklaces online which he claims can protect against Covid-19. Meanwhile, Princess Martha Louise claims to be able to communicate with angels.
The controversial couple announced their engagement in June 2022 and have received the blessing of the king.
“We are thrilled that Durek Verrett will be joining the family and we look forward to celebrating the big day with them,” the King and Queen of Norway said in a statement released on Wednesday.
“We wish Martha and Durek the best,” he added.
The couple’s wedding will be held in Geiranger City, Norway. The city is on the edge of a fjord designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Reported by Norwegian media NRKVerrett would move to Norway and join the royal family without receiving a title.
On his official website, Verrett describes himself as a “6th generation shaman,” “a visionary,” and a best-selling author. The California native also has an online “Shaman School” and “Wokeshops” that allow participants to “harness their personal power, while unblocking negativity that prevents them from achieving optimal performance as a human being.”
Meanwhile, Princess Martha Louise was previously married and had three children from her marriage to a Norwegian writer named Ari Behn. However, the two divorced in 2017.
