As is known, a truck hit seven motorbikes that were going against the direction on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. In response to this, Jasa Raharja also reminded again that an accident like this does not deserve compensation.
“Referring to Law Number 34/1964 in conjunction with PP Number 18/1965, that for drivers/riders who have an accident and are the cause of a collision of two or more motorized vehicles, Jasa Raharja does not guarantee it,” said Main Director of Jasa Raharja Rivan A. How much compensation is given by Jasa Raharja for the accident

The premium payment mechanism in the accident insurance program at PT Jasa Raharja is known in 2 (two) forms, namely Mandatory Contribution (IW) and Compulsory Contribution (SW).
Reporting from the Jasa Raharja website, Mandatory Fees are imposed on passengers of public transportation such as trains, airplanes, buses and so on (article 3 (1) a Law No.33/1964 in conjunction with article 2 (1) PP No.17/1965) . Meanwhile, passengers of public motorized vehicles in the city and short-distance trains (less than 50 km) are exempt from paying the mandatory fee.
Meanwhile Compulsory Contributions are imposed on owners/entrepreneurs of motorized vehicles (article 2 (1) Law No.34/1964 in conjunction with article 2 (1) PP No.18/1965).
