Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The latest Vivo V29 5G series was officially launched in Indonesia. Previously, this flagship device was introduced in the Czech Republic in early August.
Vivo V29 5G has a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1,260×2,800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The sides are curved (curved display) 55 degrees to make it more ergonomic when held.
Like other Chinese flagship cellphones currently circulating, the Vivo V29 5G boasts camera specifications. This cellphone relies on a 50MP main camera (OIS), accompanied by a secondary camera of 8MP (ultrawide) and 2MP (monochrome).
There is also a built-in LED flash and ringlight called ‘Aura Light’ measuring 15.6mm on the bottom side of the camera panel. Aura Light technology is claimed to be able to provide more powerful portrait results.
The reason is, Aura Light is said to be able to produce three-dimensional lighting effects. In addition, this technology also removes facial shadows and dark areas. The level of information is said to have increased by 36% from the previous series.
On the front side, the screen has a punch hole as a housing for a 50MP selfie camera which supports autofocus and a wider field of view.
Vivo V29 5G uses Snapdragon 778G innards accompanied by 8GB and 12GB RAM. Memory can be selected between 256GB and 512GB.
The battery is considered standard, still with a capacity of 4,600 mAh with 80W fast charging technology. Vivo claims its cellphone can be charged up to 50% in 18 minutes.
This cellphone runs the FunTouch OS 13 operating system based on Android 13. Other features include 5G support, dual SIM, fingerprint scanner, NFC, USB-C port, IP54 water-dust resistance certification.
This cellphone comes in 3 colors, namely Velvet Red, Noble Black and Peak Blue.
