Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Startup actors explained their innovations in the middle of the 2023 CNBC Indonesia Tech Conference session with the theme ‘Collaboration for Innovation’. These startups are PT Komunal Sejahtera Indonesia, PT Qazwa Mitra Hasanah, and Asa Ren.
In this session, Head of Communal Marketing Vera Rosana said that Kominal provides access to capital for MSMEs through peer to peer (P2P) lending and deposit products. According to him, this solution is presented considering that the Indonesian economy is driven by the MSME sector.
Meanwhile, Komunal is working with Rural Banks (BPR) in providing access to deposit products from more than 250 BPRs. So that the majority of MSMEs are in tier 2 and 3 cities can access funding.
Meanwhile Qazwa also explained about his business model. Dikri CEO Paren Qazwa revealed sharia-based P2P lending targeting MSMEs.
“Because of sharia, we bring together MSMEs who have funding problems with people who have advantages and who want to invest in MSME projects,” he said at the 2023 CNBC Indonesia Tech Conference, Tuesday (22/8/2023).
Finally, there is a DNA data startup, ASA Ren, represented by Meryl Jaye. On that occasion, he explained about Asa Ren’s innovation, namely
Asa Ren offers a solution by providing comprehensive health, nutrition and bioinformatics data in Indonesia for the public. Asa Ren is also the first DNA company to carry out the entire analysis process domestically to ensure user data privacy.
Currently, Asa Ren provides direct DNA test accessibility to consumers by offering more than 360 reports, including health risks (predisposed risk), heredity information (ancestry), and other reports for adults to children.
Apart from making presentations, these startups will also take part in Business Networking. This session is a space for them to network with venture capitalists, corporations, and fellow startup developers to establish relationships in realizing the development of technological innovation in Indonesia.
