Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Sandiaga Uno’s first child, Anneesha Atheera Uno, will marry in New York, United States (US), next September.
The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno, revealed that the marriage was held in the US because Atheera and her future husband, Panji, work and live in Uncle Sam’s country.
“Earlier, I also reported to the President that this wedding will be held in New York next month because they (Atheera and Panji) work and live in America,” said Sandi. at the Office of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf RI), Monday (28/8/2023).
Until now, Sandi has not mentioned in detail who will become his son-in-law. However, the newest member of the United Development Party (PPP) said that Panji was a school friend of Atheera in Indonesia.
“As it happens [Panji] Atheera’s school friends here (Indonesia) who are continuing their studies in the UK (United Kingdom). Then continue Masters in America, work in America,” Sandi said.

“[Panji dan Atheera] nine years of acquaintance, then finally the time came to ask for approval (for marriage), we immediately gave approval and immediately accelerated,” he continued.
On the same occasion, the 54-year-old minister admitted that he was nervous before his first daughter’s wedding. He admits that he did not expect that he would soon release his daughter to marry.
“I’m also nervous because I’ve never experienced this. The feelings are mixed with happiness. There’s sadness for letting go of my daughter. It’s a bit sad too. Nope. thought time goes by so fast,” he said.
Previously, the news of Atheera and Panji’s wedding plans was announced by Sandi’s wife, Nur Asia Uno, through her personal TikTok account (@mpoknurasia). In her upload, Nur Asia invites netizens to attend a recitation ahead of the wedding via Zoom.

Based on her LinkedIn account, Atheera worked for a biotechnology research institute, MassBioEd Foundation, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA for three years. This woman who was born in California, USA, July 25, 1997 serves as Manager of Courses and Industry Partnerships.
Previously, Atheera had also lived in the US for a long time. He studied at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Human Services and Communication Studies.
