Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – I wonder what a Japanese man named Toco who has a strange and unusual obesity is thinking. He wants to be a collie dog. Toco reveals that being a dog was his childhood dream.
“This desire (to be an animal) has been around for a long time, as far as I can remember,” said Toco, quoted from his personal YouTube channel, I want to be an animalTuesday (1/8/2023).
“It’s hard to answer what prompted me to want to be an animal,” added Toco.
“I really like cute animals with four legs,” said Toco.
“Besides because I like Collie dogs, the size is also according to my body,” he continued.
Toco said he chose the collie as his “real ideal” because of his love for collies. In addition, he also considered that Collie dogs are quite large and not too far from the human body
To make it happen, the man from Japan is willing to pay a fortune to make a super realistic dog costume. He said that it took 40 days to make the fur costume. Reportedly, the cost of producing the costumes was 2 million yen, or around Rp. 211.8 million.
Not for collection, Toco even uses it outside the house. Many people think that Toco wants to experience life as a dog, but that’s not the goal.
It is said that Toco basically just wants to transform.
“I never said I was tired of being human. Be careful with misinformation,” said Toco.
The reaction of the Toco family
Even though it was considered strange, the Toco family finally accepted their son’s decision. “The family was very surprised but took it well. I am very happy that they received it,” said Toco.
Toco himself doesn’t want anyone to know his real figure apart from the woman who accompanies him in the video who seems to be part of the family. Because of this, he does not feature his transformation on YouTube.
“I don’t want my hobby to be known, to be known by people from where I work. They think it’s strange to want to be a dog. For some reason I don’t show my real face,” he explained.
